Course Description
This self-directed, web-based product training course provides you with knowledge of the Qwest DS3 product. You will learn how DS3 works and the options available.

Qwest DS3 Service is a high capacity service that can be used as a pipeline for voice, data, and video communications, thus eliminating the need for customers to maintain and pay for multiple dedicated lines for different applications. DS3 works by combining multiple DS1 circuits onto a single physical link or data stream.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this training course, you should be able to:

• Describe how DS3 works
• Describe DS3's functions and features
• Describe how DS3 interacts with other Qwest products
• Identify the benefits and applications of DS3

Prerequisites

• IMA GUI
• Local Qwest 101 "Doing Business with Qwest"
• Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience
• Knowledge of Digital technologies
• Digital Data Service (DDS)
• Analog Private Line

Audience
The target audience for the training is primarily CLECs and External Customers, but the training is available to anyone that would like an overview of the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining a better understanding of the product and processes, and will allow you to be more effective in working with the Qwest Sales and Service Team.

This course takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
