Course Description
This self-directed, web-based course provides you with knowledge
of the Qwest Digital Data Service (DDS) product. You will learn
how DDS works and about the options available.
Digital Data Service or DDS is a digital Private Line Transport
(PLT) service that provides a dedicated transmission path between
two or more customer locations. DDS, used exclusively for data
transmission, can be provided in speeds ranging from 2.4 Kbps
to 64 Kbps and is available within the 14 states where Qwest
provides local service.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to:
- Describe the basic elements that make up a typical DDS circuit
- Describe the optional features that can be added to the
DDS circuit
- Describe the different configurations of DDS
- Describe the different jurisdictions and how they affect
DDS
Prerequisites
Audience
The target audience for the training is primarily CLECs and External Customers,
but the training is available to anyone that would like an overview
of the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining
a better understanding of the product and processes, and will
allow you to be more effective in working with the Qwest Sales
and Service Team.
