DS1
Course Description
This self-directed, web-based course provides you with knowledge
of the Qwest Digital Service - Level 1 (DS1) product. You will
learn how DS1 works and about the options available.
DS1 is a Private Line Transport service that is dedicated,
high capacity and can transport digitally coded voice, data
or video signals point to point between two customer locations
at 1.544 megabits per second.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to:
- Describe how DS1 works
- Describe DS1's functions and features
- Describe how DS1 interacts with other Qwest products
- Determine what type of customer is or is not qualified for
DS1
- Determine what equipment is required
Prerequisites
Audience
The target audience for the training is primarily CLECs and External Customers,
but the training is available to anyone that would like an overview
of the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining
a better understanding of the product and processes, and will
allow you to be more effective in working with the Qwest Sales
and Service Team.
