Course Description

This self-directed, web-based course provides you with an overview of Qwest's Local Interconnection Services (LIS) Trunking product. Subjects described in the course include interconnection options, trunk group types, forecasting trunking needs, record exchange, and access services.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to:

  • Describe how Qwest's LIS Trunking product works
  • Define the LIS Trunking forecast process
  • Describe LIS Trunking Types and Trunking groups
  • Describe at least one LIS interconnection option
  • Access specific LIS Trunking ordering information
  • Describe LIS Trunking Record Exchange policies and procedures

Prerequisites

Audience

The target audience for the training is primarily CLECs and External Customers, but the training is available to anyone that would like an overview of the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining a better understanding of the product and processes, and will allow you to be more effective in working with the Qwest Sales and Service Team.
