Qwest Control®

Course Description

This self-directed, Web-based product training course provides an overview of Qwest Control®. It also covers the various tools in Qwest Control® which will assist you in managing your business and includes practice exercises.

Qwest Control® is a proprietary on-line web-based (secured) application that provides instant access and management control over a broad range of Qwest products and services including:

Qwest Control® allows you to take control over your virtual enterprise. Get real-time updates and reports on your communications systems by using Qwest Control services through your Web browser.

Objectives

Upon conclusion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Understand the functionality of Qwest Control®.
  • Navigate through Qwest Control®.
  • Recognize the various products applications.
  • View and/or generate specific product reports.
  • View eBills.
  • Enter and track configuration requests.
  • View or create repair tickets.
  • Manage users accounts
  • Recognize and access the Remote Control Portal

Prerequisites

  • National Qwest 101 "Doing Business with Qwest"
  • Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience

Audience

The target audience for the training is primarily Qwest national wholesale customers, resellers, and carriers, but the training is available to anyone who would like an overview of the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining a better understanding of the product and processes, and will allow you to be more effective in working with the Qwest Sales and Service Team.

Course Length

This course takes approximately 4-5 hours to complete.
