National Qwest 101 "Doing Business with Qwest"
Course Description
This introductory, web-based training is designed to teach
National customers how to do business with Qwest Wholesale.
It provides a general overview of products and services, billing
and support systems, processes for submitting service requests,
reports, and web resource information.
This training addresses products and services provided by Qwest
Communications Company on a national basis. A separate Qwest
affiliate, Qwest Company, provides local interconnection
services in the Qwest
14-state region as an incumbent local exchange carrier.
Qwest provides separate contracts and training for those local
interconnection services. Please contact your sales
representative if you have any questions about local interconnection
services so you can be directed to the appropriate training
materials.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to:
- Identify Qwest's customers and featured services
- Describe the account setup process
- State the role of the Qwest Account Management team
- Familiarize yourself with Qwest National general business
procedures
- Describe product and service offerings
- Explain the processes for submitting service requests
- Identify and access Qwest's National support systems
- Locate and access reports and reporting tools
- Describe billing options
- Utilize Web resources
Prerequisites
- Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience
- RemoteControl® Web-based training or working knowledge of Remote Control
Audience
The target audience for the training is primarily National customers, but the
training is available to anyone that would like an overview of
the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining
a better understanding of Qwest's products and processes and will
allow you to be more effective working with the Qwest Sales and
Service Team.

This course takes approximately 3-4 hours to complete.
