DS3 Resale via IMA
Course Description
This self-directed, web-based course provides an overview of
the DS3 Resale product, as well as the processes for submitting
the service request via Interconnect Mediated Access (IMA).
The processes covered are PreOrder, Order, Post Order, Provisioning,
and Billing.
Qwest DS3 service is a high capacity service that can be used
as a pipeline for voice, data, and video communications, thus
eliminating the need for customers to maintain and pay for multiple
dedicated lines for different applications. DS3 works by combining
multiple DS1 circuits onto a single physical link or data steam.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to:
- Describe the DS3 Resale product
- Describe the standard features and availability of DS3 Resale
- Identify the unique IMA processes
- Identify the forms required to submit your request
- Identify the required fields on each form
- Describe the LSR System Notices
- Define the interval guidelines for DS3 Resale
Prerequisites
Audience
The target audience for the training is primarily CLECs and External Customers,
but the training is available to anyone that would like an overview
of the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining
a better understanding of the product and processes, and will
allow you to be more effective in working with the Qwest Sales
and Service Team.

This course takes approximately 5 hours to complete.
