Course Description

This self-directed, web-based process and systems training course provides an overview of the Resale Private Line Transport (PLT) Digital Signal Level (DS1) product as well as the processes for submitting the service request via Interconnect Mediated Access (IMA). The processes covered are PreOrder, Order, Post Order, Provisioning, and Billing.

Resale PLT DS1 is a high capacity service that can transport digitally coded voice, data or video signals point to point between two customer locations at 1.544 Mbps

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this training course, you should be able to:

• Define the Resale PLT DS1 product
• Identify Resale PLT DS1 components
• Describe the standard features and availability of Resale PLT DS1
• Identify the unique IMA processes
• Identify the forms required to submit your request
• Identify the required fields on each form
• Describe the LSR System Notices
• Describe the interval guidelines for Resale PLT DS1

Prerequisites

• Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience
• IMA GUI
• Local Qwest 101 "Doing Business with Qwest"
• Working knowledge of Qwest IMA ordering system
• Analog Private Line
• Knowledge of Digital technologies

Audience
The target audience for the training is primarily CLECs and External Customers, but the training is available to anyone that would like an overview of the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining a better understanding of the product and processes, and will allow you to be more effective in working with the Qwest Sales and Service Team.

This course takes approximately 3 hours to complete.
