Course Description
This instructor-led, process and systems training course is designed to provide an overview of the UNE-P POTS service as well as the processes for submitting the service request via IMA. The processes covered are PreOrder, Order, Post Order, Provisioning, Billing, and CEMR Maintenance and Repair.

Qwest provides UNE-P POTS (Unbundled Network Elements Platform Plain Old Telephone Service) combinations as a finished service to end-users on behalf of CLECs.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this training course, you should be able to:

• Describe the UNE-P POTS service that can be requested
• Identify the unique IMA processes
• Identify the unique CEMR processes
• Identify the forms required to submit your request
• Identify the required fields on each form
• Describe the LSR System Notices
• Define the interval guidelines for UNE-P POTS Resale

Prerequisites

• IMA GUI
• IMA GUI
• Local Qwest 101 "Doing Business with Qwest"
• Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience
• POTS Product Overview Course
• Working knowledge of Qwest IMA ordering system

Audience
The target audience for the training is primarily CLECs and External Customers, but the training is available to anyone who would like an overview of the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining a better understanding of the product and processes, and will allow you to be more effective in working with the Qwest Sales and Service Team.
