Wireless Originating Transit Record Identification
Job Aid Description/Purpose
This Job Aid is designed to identify the Wireless Originating Transit record in the 11-01-01 EMI format.
The billing system modifications associated with Issue #2056 will eliminate the 11-50-01 to 11-50-04 and 11-50-21 to 11-50-24 summary records. These changes affect the Carrier Access Usage - Meet Point Billing Summary records sent to Qwest (11-50-01 to 04).
Qwest will continue to send to your company or service bureau Category 11-01-XX records for meet point billing of terminating switched access. Currently, upon receipt of your summarized terminating access records (11-50-01, 02, 03, 04), Qwest then bills the IXC for our portion of the switched access charges. With the elimination of the previously listed EMI records, it will no longer be required or necessary for you to send Qwest the summarized terminating access records for FG-B, C, D.
Qwest expects to receive originating access records from your company in order to bill our portion of the originating IXC traffic. It will be necessary for your company to send 11-01-XX detail records for originating meet-point billed traffic. Qwest will no longer be able to accept 11-50-01, 02, 03 or 04 EMI summary records after August 31, 2002.
This job aid is effective as of August 10, 2002 based on the implementation of OBF Issue 2056.
