Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) Web Site User Introduction

Job Aid Description/Purpose

This document is intended as a basic introduction to the ISG/AIN web site for CLECs accessing the ISG/AIN web site for the first time. The Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) web site will allow you to access call-related databases for CLECs. (Call-related databases are those that are directly involved in the call processing flow).

The Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) system will allow you access to AIN Service data and the ability to administer that data for their end user clients within the AIN system.

Objectives

While using this job aid you should be able to:

• Explain the basic elements of the ISG/AIN product
• List the AIN services covered in this job aid
• Describe AIN security policies that control user access

Prerequisites

• Qwest 101 "Doing Business with Qwest"
• Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience
• Familiarity with ordering and set-up of AIN products and services
• Review current or proposed CLEC contract documentation that outlines which AIN products and services will be available

Audience

The target audience for the job aid is primarily for CLECs and External Customers.
