OCN-based Billing
Operating company number (OCN)-based billing
provides switch-based providers with 1+ termination and 8xx
origination services with pricing at the OCN-rate element level.
1+ termination calls are rated according to the OCN to which
Qwest hands off the call for completion, while 8xx origination
calls are rated according to the OCN from which Qwest receives
the call. Qwest offers over 25,000 OCN-based rates, allowing
switch-based provider customers to better manage their route
costs.
