Qwest®
International Dedicated Internet Access
Qwest International Dedicated Internet Access (IDIA) adds
value to you and your customers by expanding the global reach
of the Qwest IP Internet backbone. The value of any Internet
provider’s backbone is based on the coverage of the
network footprint and the quality of connectivity to other
networks. Considering Qwest's industry-leading peering arrangements
and the strategic relationships developed, International DIA
has both the coverage and connectivity that companies demand.
As businesses continue to move to the virtual space of the
Internet, more companies are finding a need to extend their
international reach. Traditionally, establishing a global
Internet presence has been fairly complex, often involving
multiple vendors, languages and currencies. Qwest eliminates
the complexity by managing multiple international relationships
to provide a single point of contact and accountability for
a customer’s International DIA needs.
Availability
Qwest International DIA meets the global IP connectivity
needs of domestic U.S.-based customers by providing service
to Europe, Asia, Canada, Mexico and Latin America.
Europe
European connectivity covers 21 European countries through
strategic alliances with best-of-breed providers. Our alliances
provide extensive coverage across both Western and Eastern
Europe.
Asia

can now be routed through Qwest points of presence (PoPs)
in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and Sydney. These connections
provide direct access to the OC-192-based Qwest® Macro Capacity®
Fiber Network in the United States, and strategic allies in
Europe and around the world.
Additional Pacific Rim locations can be provided in Malaysia,
Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Korea, New Zealand, Taiwan
and Thailand through strategic alliances.
