Selective Call Forwarding - V6.0
History Log
Product Description
Selective Call Forwarding allows end-users to forward only those calls from
telephone numbers on their Selective Call Forwarding list.
When the Selective Call Forwarding feature has been activated, only incoming calls that appear on the Selective Call Forwarding List will be forwarded to the remote location.
Selective Call Forwarding end-users can forward to most local
or long distance telephone numbers.
Outgoing calls can be made while Selective Call Forwarding is in effect.
Forwarding provided to lines originating in 5ESS® or DMS-100 Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) capable central offices may be provided using either:
- AIN technology
- Custom Local Area Signaling (CLASS ) (Switch-based) technology
Selective Call Forwarding service installed prior to 11-19-07 will use CLASS technology unless or until Qwest receives a Local Service Request (LSR) from you to change Selective Call Forwarding to AIN technology (see ordering section below). Once Call Rejection is migrated from Class technology to AIN technology, it can not be migrated back to CLASS technology. Selective Call Forwarding installed on or after 11-19-07 will be provided using AIN technology in AIN capable Central Offices.
For additional information contact your Qwest Service Manager.
