Route to Other Number is a feature that allows a caller to press "0" on a touchtone telephone while in the greeting or message portion of the mailbox or router. When the caller presses "0" they will be routed/transferred to a destination. This destination (Other Number) is preselected by the mailbox subscriber.
Route to Other Number allows the caller to automatically direct their incoming calls into a minimum of two or a maximum of nine mailboxes or routers using a touchtone telephone. Callers will only be routed to mailboxes or routers and not to telephone numbers.

Route to Other Number may not have a recurring or a nonrecurring charge based on state specific Tariffs/Catalogs/Price Lists. The charge is included in the rates of the mailbox or router.

Manual Indicator
If Route to Other Number is provisioned as a destination behind a router, adding, disconnecting or changing it requires a Manual Indicator (MANUAL IND) "Y", because the Qwest typist must read REMARKS to provision the router.
MANUAL IND "N" may be used when Route to Other Number is not provisioned behind a router, unless other requested changes require manual handling.
The FID RTO (Route to Other Number) and the 10-digit telephone number is used when the end-user wants to route to another telephone number and follows one of the above USOCs; e.g., N VJMXU /Route to Other Number NPA nnn-nnnn.
Remarks
When Route to Other Number is provisioned behind a router, an entry in REMARK is required to indicate how the router works, e.g., RTO goes to NPA-nnn-nnnn or RTO goes to mailbox #1.
