Billed Number Screening provides an end-user the capability of restricting collect and/or third number billing to their telephone number.
Callers attempting to place a third number billed or collect call to a line equipped with Billed Number Screening will be advised by an operator that such billing is unauthorized and another form of billing is required.
Multi-line end-users can have Billed Number Screening on one or more lines, whether the lines are billed separately or together.
Billed Number Screening by itself does not block 1+ dialing. Based on the blocking option chosen, you can choose to block or not to block 1+ dialing. If you choose not to block 1+ dialing, you will be responsible for any 1+ charges incurred.

Blocking is added or removed by using the BA and BLOCK fields on the product specific LSOG form.
NOTE: When changing from one feature to another, use N and D Feature Activity Types.
Billed Number Screening will be provisioned to you based on the BA and BLOCK values that you indicate on a LSR. In order to assess the applicable Nonrecurring Charge (NRC) for this feature, Qwest will assign the appropriate USOC(s) and/or FID(s) listed in the tables below. These USOCs and FIDs are provided for CSR reference purposes only and should not be included on the LSR. Note that Qwest may remove the NRC USOC(s) during subsequent order activity.
When blocking features exist on a line and you wish to retain them following conversion activity, you must specify the end state of the blocking activity on each line by using the appropriate BA and BLOCK values on the LSR.
