Qwest Begins Enhanced Fiber Deployments

Qwest technicians have broken ground on new deployments of high-speed fiber optic cable in several Portland neighborhoods as part of a push to increase broadband speeds and bring other new advantages for Qwest customers. Additional deployments in Portland and other Oregon communities are planned for later this year and beyond.

With the new fiber deployments, Qwest will be able to offer high-speed Internet service at speeds of at least 7 Mbps. Stay tuned for further news on this exciting investment.
