Qwest BAAS is a unique state-of-the-art wholesale broadband and network service designed especially for large ISPs and business customers. BAAS provides a nationwide service that aggregates individual Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) connections with different DSL providers, provides protocol translation between asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) and Internet protocol (IP) and provides Internet access for those subscribers. BAAS provides network capacity, DSL point-to-point protocol (PPP) termination, IP connectivity and Internet transit.

Qwest Broadband Access Aggregation Services (BAAS) is available to business customers in 75 metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs) nationwide. Minimum term of commitment of two years and minimum number of subscribers is required. Termination liability applies. Additional equipment may be required. Start-up costs and fees per GUI interface are additional.
