Make your phone system smarter. A Centrex-compatible console lets callers spell names or select from a series of menu options. It receives information over a communications channel, enters data into a computer system, and communicates the feedback to your customers.

Qwest offers the following consoles and terminals:

• ISDN Terminals, NTIs/Power Supply, and National ISDN Terminals by Lucent Technologies are voice and data terminals used for asynchronous or synchronous data communications that provide voice services via feature button access to optional voice features and multiple directory numbers. Some models come with a display. Network termination of ISDN for both AM1 and 2B1Q.
• Attendant Consoles by Lucent Technologies are used in conjunction with the 5Eswitch to provide attendant call handling and processing services.
• TeleDesk Receptionist, TeleDesk Workstation, and TeleDesk PowerPlus Workstations by Conveyant Systems, Inc. are designed specifically for Centrex Plus/Centron service. The product line consists of PC-based attendant consoles with optional integrated directory and other capabilities designed for customers with up to 50,000 stations.
• ISDN Terminals and National ISDN Terminals by Fujitsu Network Systems are digital telephone sets specifically designed to support new features in the ATandT 5ESS future generics. Supports V.120 rate adaption standard, passive-bus capabilities, 56kbps Bearer Service and easy upgrade path and enhanced diagnostic features.
• Meridian Digital Terminals by Nortel are proprietary, digital telephone instruments designed to work exclusively with the DM 100 CO and CO-ACD service.
• Meridian 8000/9000 Series Terminals by Nortel are NTI's next generation of non-proprietary, analog telephones for use in both the PBX and Centrex environments. The M8000 series is targeted to replace the Unity series. The M9000 series addresses customer needs for CLASS and CLASS Centrex applications.
• Centracom Consoles by Tone Commander are small, medium and high capacity low-cost attendant consoles for use in a Centrex environment.
• Model 500/522 Line Centrex Telephones are five-line (KSU-less) sets ideal for department and secretarial positions within a Centrex environment.
