Based on a private Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) core, CenturyLink™ architecture supports all of our IP-based services–including a significant percentage of our legacy Inter-Exchange Carrier (IXC) voice traffic. Plus, we provide a fully integrated ATM and FR network, creating a single environment for data, voice and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. With a network based on leading-edge MPLS technology, we can add new services in a modular fashion, each inheriting the same security and reliability that you depend on in our core network.
