How Does Qwest OneFlex VoIP Work?
It couldn’t be simpler.
Calls are made using a OneFlex phone connected to your computer and the Internet.
Your VoIP services are connected using separately purchased Qwest iQ Networking™ Internet Port (Dedicated Internet Access).
Conversations are broken down into smaller units (packets) then sent across the Internet connection.
The OneFlex network routes the calls based on the features you’ve selected.
The received voice packets are reassembled in the appropriate order and converted to an analog signal and voice.

OneFlex service and 911 dialing only from fixed location where Qwest installs OneFlex service for customer. Customers should secure an alternative access to traditional 911.
