You may network the computers in your home/office with the Qwest® Advanced Networking Modem: 2Wire® 2700 HG and share one high-speed Internet connection with up to five computers.

You’ll need a wireless adapter for each computer that will access the network wirelessly.

Actiontec®

You may use the Qwest® Wireless Module: Actiontec® W1000 to enable wireless networking using your Qwest® Standard Modem: Actiontec® M1000.

About this Adapter

A USB adapter connects to your desktop computer with a USB port so you can access your home/office network wirelessly. You’ll need a wireless adapter for each desktop computer that will access the network wirelessly.

Note: If your computer has an internal Centrino™ chip, you can establish a wireless connection to the modem without a wireless adapter.

You can connect your desktop computer with the Qwest® Wireless USB Adapter: 2Wire® 802.11g - Silver.

  • Once installed, simply turn on your computer and the adapter automatically detects and displays available wireless access points and prompts you for secure login via WEP or Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA).
  • Provides you with superior speed up to 54Mbps and advanced Wi-Fi security.
