Speed Test

There are several ways to gauge your average bandwidth (speed). One easy way is from your modem interface, usually at http://192.168.0.1. You can also check your speed at the Qwest Bandwidth Speed Test, using different cities to get a more accurate overall indication of your bandwidth.

Keep in mind that speed tests are a 'snapshot in time' of your speeds at that particular time between you and that particular server. Internet traffic can (and does) fluctuate greatly. For the most accurate overall results, run several different speed tests at different times throughout the day and average them out.
