SMS800 Database Consolidation

Summary:	Legacy Qwest/CenturyLink is consolidating its SMS800 Database platforms. As a result of this change, providers who currently launch their SMS800 queries to the local STP Qwest alias point code where their A or B/D Links connect, will see their SMS800 responses come back from point codes 239-002-003 (JHCYTNXCD04) and 239-004-003 (BRSTTNXAD00) using subsystem (SSN) 254.
Location and Timing of Deployment:	The following gives additional details about the SMS800 database platform change: CLLI Code: JHCYTNXCD04) and BRSTTNXAD00 Implementation: February 7th, 2012
Foreseeable Impact:	Impacted providers must ensure their switches can route to the two, 239 point codes in order to prevent 800 call failure. Providers should contact their respective switch vendors for assistance if necessary. Providers will not be changing the alias point code to which they launch their 800 SMS queries. Providers who are not directly connected to the L-QC Local STP’s, but who launch their 8xx queries to the L-QC Local STP Qwest alias point code, should also contact their SS7 Provider to ensure any impacted network routing and Gateway Screening is set up appropriately prior to the implementation date.
