Summary:

Copper Retirements are necessary to respond to various factors in the Outside Plant, including road construction, maintenance problems, and growth accommodation. Replacement cables may be either copper or fiber. Specific information will be provided with each disclosure.

OR Capitol PTLDOR69 8-30-2011 131262 02R23JN The city of Portland is improving SW Moody and all existing Legacy Qwest facilities will be relocated. Due to the nature of the relocations, the central-office based copper F1 service will no longer be available. All working service will be cut to digital loop carrier (LPG1217, 1-700) at the RT. Copper reliant services, such as non-loaded copper loops will no longer be supported after the cut to DLC; all other types of unbundled loops will still be available.
