Qwest had placed a new fiber fed RT at 917 15TH AVE SE to eliminate the C.O. based copper F-1 feed to this area which is impacted by the 4th Street Bridge project. This job will eliminate the copper F-1 pairs to the Sai at Eastgate Dr. At the completion of this job, no copper F-1 pairs will be available to this SAI. The before loss to X Eastgate Dr is 26.96 dB at 28Khz which includes 6,062 feet of ANMW and 6,881 feet of ANTW cables (12.94 Kft). The after loss to X Eastgate Dr is 3.92 dB at 28Khz which includes 2,515 feet of ANMW cable(2.51 Kft). All existing Clec circuits will continue to work at the completion of this job. |

This project will replace an existing SAI at 6625 NE 47th Ave due to conflicts with a city of Portland street improvement project. This project will remove the existing aerial SAI at 6625 NE 47th Ave. All existing services from SAI 6625 NE 47th (6625-47,1-200)Ave will be transferred to SAI 5240 NE Columbia Blvd (5240c,2201-2400). The current F1 facilities feeding unbundled circuits at SAI 6625 NE 47th Ave will be pushed through existing cable to the SAI at 5240 NE Columbia Blvd. F2 pairs from the SAI at 5240 NE Columbia Blvd will be pushed through existing cable back to a splice point at 6625 NE 47th Ave. This cutover will result in an increase in loop length of 3206' and an increase in dB loss of 5.02dB. CO-based F1 facilities are available at the SAI 5240 NE Columbia Blvd. |
