Summary:

Copper Retirements are necessary to respond to various factors in the Outside Plant, including road construction, maintenance problems, and growth accommodation. Replacement cables may be either copper or fiber. Specific information will be provided with each disclosure.

Another 135' section of ANMW 300pr is being replaced with a 257' ANMW 200pr with a+.04dB loss @ 1004Hz. The Sai will be 100% pair gain fed. This job will remove the existing C.O. copper F-1 pairs as part of the project to eliminate the copper F-1 pairs to this area which is being impacted by the 4th Street bridge replacement. At the completion of this job, no copper F-1 pairs will be available to this Sai. The before loss to X Rochester Villa is 30.77 dB at 28Khz which includes 9,381 feet of ANMW and 6,062 feet of ANTW cables (15.44 Kft). The after loss to X Rochester Villa is 8.73 dB at 28Khz which includes 5,308 feet of ANMW cable (5.31 Kft). Most existing CLEC circuits will continue to work at the completion of this job. Five copper based only CLEC circuits will need to be disconnected.
MN Rochester ROCHMNRO 01-22-2010 250303 92M22XC X F 2894 Eastwood Rd SE The existing SAI at F 2894 Eastwood Rd SE (250303)will be cut to feed from the Remote terminal at 917 15th Ave SE. At the completion of this job, no copper F-1 pairs will be available to this SAI. The before loss to X F 2894 Eastwood Rd SE is 33.320 dB at 28Khz which includes 6,062 feet of ADTC, 6,834 feet of ADMC, 4,116 feet of AHAA, and 1,010 feet of AFMW cables (18.022 Kft). The after loss to X F 2894 Eastwood Rd SE is 10.930 dB at 28Khz which includes 100 feet of ANMW cable, 2,384 feet of ADMC, 4,116 feet of AHAA, and 1,010 feet of AFMW cables (7.610 Kft). All existing CLEC circuits will continue to work at the completion of this job.
MN Rochester ROCHMNRO 01-22-2010 250603 92M22XB 2118 14 ST SE Qwest had placed a new fiber fed RT at 917 15TH AVE SE to eliminate the C.O. based copper F-1 feed to this area which is impacted by the 4th Street Bridge project. This job will eliminate all but 25 copper F-1 pairs to the Sai at 2118 14 St SE. At the completion of this job, 25 copper F-1 pairs will be available to this Sai. The before and after loss to X 2118 14 St SE is 31.65 dB at 28Khz which includes 8,646 feet of ANMW and 6,946 feet of ANTW cables (15.59 Kft). All existing Clec circuits will continue to work at the completion of this job.
