Summary:

Copper Retirements are necessary to respond to various factors in the Outside Plant, including road construction, maintenance problems, and growth accommodation. Replacement cables may be either copper or fiber. Specific information will be provided with each disclosure.

There are not any existing CLEC service types that can not be supported at the new RT. The longest F2 loop will be 4.47KF..
CO Denver East DNVRCOEA 09-23-2009 210831 9222ZQC 4275 Forest RELOCATING THE X BOX AND CABLES: The dB loss calculations for the sections are: F1 = BEFORE- 160' ANMW-400 @ 28KHz = 0.270 Difference = +0.170dB F2 = 90' ANMW-900 @ 28KHz = 0.150 Total = 0.420dB AFTER- F1 = 266' ANMW-400 @ 28KHz = 0.440 F2 = 56' ANMW-600 @ 28KHz = 0.090 Total = 0.530 This is a difference of +0.110dB.
CO Georgetown GRTWCOMA 09-18-2009 211261 9222UMS Straight CO This section replacement is being requested by Clear Creek County, section throw for bridge replacement in Alvarado Road over Clear Creek, Qwest will be removing a 707 foot section of overhead and replacing with a 817 foot section in new conduit (235 feet) placed for Qwest use in the new bridge and an additional buried piece for 582feet, db loss before, .707kf of 24ga was 1.15db, loss after replacement of cable .817 kf of 24 ga cable is 1.32db.
MN Rochester ROCHMNRO 11-12-2009 252301 92M22AM (OLD SAI 50 AV & 20 ST SE (241402), NEW SAI 1445 60TH AVE SE (252301) Qwest will place a fiber fed remote terminal to re-feed this area which is being impacted by the 4th street bridge replacement. The job will also remove the old Sai and place a new one at the same location as the RT. No C.O. copper F-1 pairs will be available at X 1445 60th Ave SE at the completion of this job. The before loss to X 50 Av & Hwy 14 E is 36.55 dB at 28Khz which includes 1,274 feet of ANAW, 12,120 feet of ANMW and 5,813 feet of ANTW cables (19.20 Kft). The after loss to X 1445 60th Ave SE is .08 dB at 28Khz which includes 50 feet of ANMW cables (.05 Kft). All existing CLEC circuits will continue to work at the completion of the job.

CUSTOMERS WORKING ON COPPER WILL BE PLACED ON A TA1500 DLC AND ALL WILL CONTINUE TO WORK. ALSO, AN ADDITIONAL 50' OF ANMW-900 WILL BE ADDED TO THE F1 FOR A DIFFERENCE OF +.1 AT 28 KHZ.
UT Provo PROVUTMA 09-30-2009 1212931 H96A064 657 S 500 West This job will replace existing cable (120' of 24 gauge with a DB loss of 8.360 @ 28KHz) with new cable (406' of 24 gauge with a DB loss of 8.960 @ 28KHz). This results in an increase of .600db loss.
