Summary:

Copper Retirements are necessary to respond to various factors in the Outside Plant, including road construction, maintenance problems, and growth accommodation. Replacement cables may be either copper or fiber. Specific information will be provided with each disclosure.

The cable will loop thru (1) existing pedestal for future feed. The job requires that various pieces of 200 pr and 50 pr cables of 20 to 30 foot lengths will need to placed at 201 and 217 Galena to extend the existing cables in order to move the peds out of the way of a new sidewalk being placed by the city. This job also moves (3) pedestals to accommodate for a road improvement project currently underway. The existing SAI at x8220 SE Monterey will be removed due to conflicts with a street improvement project. The project will add overall loop length and some CLEC CO-based services may not be supported. Qwest does not have CO-based DSL service at the remaining SAIs.
