| Summary: |
FTTP consists of a customer bandwidth selectable Ethernet WAN interface provided by Qwest, Ethernet bridging equipment is located at the user location Comprehensive connectivity to qwest.net (Qwest ISP) is provided by fiber facilities on the Qwest FTTP network.
FTTP supports both “shared/PON” point-to-point full duplex connectivity and provides common Ethernet data connections of 10/100 Mbps at the user location. FTTP Ethernet connection will only provide access to qwest.net (Qwest ISP) via Qwest’s ATM network.

Effective January 27, 2006, facility and service availability information for fiber fed addresses will be accessible in Qwest databases. Qwest will no longer provide facility and service availability information for fiber fed residential addresses via Network Disclosure #510 for Fiber to the Premise.
If you are a reseller and wish to order residential basic exchange service and features at fiber fed addresses, follow general processing as described in the Ordering Overview PCAT and the Resale Basic Exchange Services PCAT.

| Interface Requirements: |
Technical information about FTTP will be available in Qwest Communications' Technical Publication #77415, “Qwest Fiber-to-the-Premises Service.” This reference also identifies the ANSI/IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.5 standards for all applicable interface requirements. If the FTTP interface changes in the future, Qwest will issue a revision to this Network Disclosure.
IEEE Std 802.3-2002 – IEEE Standard for Information Technology – Telecommunications and information exchange between systems – Local and metropolitan area networks – Specific requirements – Part 3: Carrier sense multiple access with collision detection (CSMA/CD) access method and physical layer specifications.
The 10BASE-T CSMA/CD LAN interface was previously disclosed in Network Disclosure News Announcement #386 - November 26, 1997.
The 100BASE-TX CSMA/CD LAN interface was previously disclosed in Network Disclosure News Announcement #364 - August 15, 1997.
