Flexible ANI II Digits for Payphone Compensation Disclosure Date: July 16, 2002

Summary:	This disclosure is to announce Qwest's planned deployment of Flexible ANI II digits for payphone compensation. Flexible ANI II is a software product developed and supported by various manufacturers of switches used by Qwest. When this product is deployed in the switch and the associated translations work is complete, carriers can receive ANI II digits, which identify the type (class of service) represented by the telephone number. Flex- ANI is being deployed as the result of a FCC mandate in paragraph 64 of the Reconsideration Order in CC 96-128.
Locations and Timing of Deployment:	Qwest plans to deploy Flexible ANI II digits for payphone compensation throughout the Qwest 14-state territory. Locations where Flexible ANI II is planned or is currently available can be found in Attachment 1. If the interface changes in the future, Qwest will issue a new Network Disclosure. In addition, deployment updates will be added to the Qwest web site at http://www.qwest.com/disclosures in disclosure #410.
Pricing:	Pricing for Flexible ANI II specifically utilized for payphone compensation will be available in applicable tariffs.

Additional Information:	Flex ANI for Payphone Compensation will be available to carrier customers on an end office basis, however the flex ANI feature is intended to be limited to pay station lines. Although Flex ANI II feature will be deployed in all end offices, it will not be widely available for other class of services. In order to comply with the FCC requirements, pay station lines must transmit the ANI II digits of 27, 29, or 70. Additional flex ANI digits will not be deployed at this time. If an IXC requires more information about the line originating the call, they will have to launch an OLNS query to receive service and equipment indicator information.
