WASHINGTON
This disclosure announces U S WEST plans to deploy an
enhanced Continuous Re-dial Deluxe (CRD) starting in December 1997.
Continuous Re-dial Deluxe or Enhanced Busy Call Return (NORTEL
terminology ) is a modification to the existing switch based CLASS * 66
Continuous Re-dial feature currently deployed in U S WEST.
This CRD feature replaces the existing network switch busy tone the
customer hears with a new continuous re-dial announcement containing a
front end recorded busy, a continuous re-dial voice prompt, followed by
more recorded busies.
