Q:	How can I submit my resume for an open position?
A:	You must first have a profile created in our jobs site at http://careers.qwest.com. If you are a new user you can select the "Create a Profile" option or if you are an existing user you can select "Update Profile" or "Job Search" options and logon to navigate opportunities.
Q:	When to use the Create Profile option?
A:	If you are a new user you should use the "Create a Profile" option. Here you can register yourself as an interested candidate, set your ideal job preferences and attach your resume. You will also have the option to see available jobs that match your ideal job preferences, search other available jobs or configure the system to notify you via e-mail each time a position becomes available that matches your ideal job preferences.
Q:	After I submit my resume for an open position, how do I receive a confirmation?
A:	Unfortunately, due to the large volume of resumes submissions we receive, we are unable to personally acknowledge the receipt and status of each submission. You'll be sent an automated response to let you know we've received your resume. Based on your qualifications, your resume will be reviewed by a recruiter. Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. The selection process may take 4 weeks or longer depending on the position.
Q:	How can I update my resume?
A:	Your resume may be updated by visiting the jobs site at http://careers.qwest.com...signing in, then scrolling down the page, clicking on "review and revise Job Finder criteria." You can change your resume, your e-mail, your criteria, even the geographic location you want to search in. You may also update your complete profile.
Q:	How can I stop receiving e-mail job notifications from jobs site?
A:	To remove your e-mail notifications, go to the Qwest job site at http://careers.qwest.com, click on the Update Profile and sign-in. Now click on "Review and Revise Job Finder Criteria" and where it states "Notification", uncheck this box and you will no longer receive email regarding matching jobs.
