Bill O'Neill

Regional Vice President of Sales
Qwest Government Services

Bill O'Neill is regional vice president of sales for Qwest Government Services and is based in Arlington, Va. He has a long and successful track record of managing major accounts in the defense, civilian and secure business areas, as well as leading teams that provide end-to-end IT telecommunications solutions.

He joined Qwest in 2008 from Nortel Networks where he was vice president and general manager of product and managed services for Nortel Government Solutions in Fairfax, Va. In 1999, he started at Nortel as director of new product introduction at the enterprise division.

Previously, O'Neill spent 17 years at Raytheon in various business development, sales and management positions serving government and enterprise customers from its facilities in Massachusetts and Virginia. He was general manager of operations for Raytheon Technical Services in Norfolk, Va., from 1996 to 1999.

O'Neill graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in engineering from Roger Williams College in Bristol, R.I. He also earned a graduate certificate in electro-optics engineering at Tufts University in Medford, Mass.
