Deirdre Murray joined Qwest Government Services in April 2008 as Business Development Principal for the federal civilian agencies. Over the past 25 years, she has also held key management, operations, marketing, and business development positions at Sprint Federal, GTE and US WEST.

She serves on the board of the Association for Federal Information Resources Management (AFFIRM) and TechAmerica's (formerly ITAA/GEIA) Strategic Forecast Council, and is active in the Industry Advisory Council (IAC). A two-time Federal Computer Week "FED 100" awardee, Deirdre was also honored with the IAC Chairman's Award and Women in Technology's "Lifetime Achievement Award" in 2007 and the ITAA Chairman's Award in 2008.

She is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, and attended graduate school at the University of Maryland, University College.
