Qwest Signs New Agreement With Leading Software-On-Demand Company To Provide Advanced Network Services

Denver, September 6, 2006 - Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE:Q) today announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Santa Clara, California-based OpSource^TM. OpSource is an industry-leading software-on-demand, also coined Software as a Service (SaaS), company offering high-quality enablement and delivery of software to customers who offer software applications remotely via the Web.

Qwest will provide state-of-the-art Qwest iQ Networking^TM service, Qwest's wide-area network (WAN) solution, and give OpSource customers speeds up to 10 gigabits per second. When combined with its current bandwidth, OpSource will be able to provide customers a SaaS delivery platform with improved performance, reduced latency and better availability. The Qwest services will augment OpSource's existing Internet bandwidth capacity and provide customers nationally with a secure, reliable and fast Internet connection.
