Vinod
Khosla
General Partner,
Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers
Vinod Khosla was a co-founder of Daisy
Systems and founding chief executive officer of Sun Microsystems,
where he pioneered open systems and commercial RISC processors.
Mr. Khosla has also been a general partner of the venture
capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers since
1986. He serves on the board of directors of Juniper
Networks, Inc., as well as several private companies.
Mr. Khosla earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in
electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology
in New Delhi and a master's degree in biomedical engineering
from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A. from the
Stanford Graduate School of Business.
